Bangalore to Orange County Kabini road distance is about 230km. The driving route is essentially the same as the Bangalore to Mananthavady via HD Kote (follow the driving directions up to Handpost) route.

Take the left diversion at the Kabini Dam junction on SH33. This is about 3km after you've crossed the Handpost junction. Turn left and leave the highway. Watch out after Handpost junction, you can easily miss this diversion. Drive all the way up to the dam, and turn right.
Another 15km drive from the Dam will bring you to a diversion. Turn right towards the backwater side. Drive for 4 km to the river banks, you are at Orange County Kabini.

Orange County Kabini is surrounded by the backwaters all round . Toward the south side is the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary.
