The driving route from Bangalore is essentially via Mysore and HD Kote (Hanspost Jn). Follow the driving direction detailed in Bangalore to Mananthavady via HD Kote up to Karapura village. That's where you'll make the final diversion towards Kabini backwaters whose edges the Kabini River Lodge is located.
From Karapura village square,turn left. In 2km you’ll reach a cross roads.
The straight road heads to Kabini River Lodge by JLR.
Turn right for Waterwoods Lodge, a resort very close to JLR. The Serai Kabini, another popular upscale resort is on the left diversion of this junction.
All the three resorts are on the banks somewhat adjacent to each other.
A note to estimate driving time. Budget about 3hours for the Bangalore-Mysore lap. Another 1hour you'll hit Nagarhole forest. The Karapura diversion , though only 10-15km could take about 30-45 minutes.
